Madden Online Franchise!

At 11 Players, I feel like we're as full as I want us to be so right now, this Franchise is now closed to outside occupants.

NOTE: We are using the team rosters. Which means my QB will be Matt Cassel and I will run with Larry Johnson. There will not be a FANTASY draft where we pick all of our players out of a pool. I don't like this idea and never have.

No offense to the admin, but we feel like the general consensus on rules among our group has served us well in NCAA and we're going to apply same to Madden. This means if someone does something you find questionable and exploitive, let us know. No cheating, please be ready to commit. We cannot stand people who join and then quit when they lose. Not bashing anybody, but as you all can attest to, this gets old. Accept defeats and build through the draft. Its there for a reason." UPDATE: We are open again to applicants! We are using the team's original rosters. We are doing Live ROOKIE Drafts. NO FANTASY DRAFT. We're here to try and take our favorite teams to championships not amass the greatest players in the league onto one team.

The first season will run the SCHEDULE announced by the NFL. Custom schedules will follow. This will be elaborated on once I see what powers are at my disposal as commissioner. This means some teams are going to have more user games than others. This is unfair to some, but balance will return during custom schedules.

Alright, we have a bit of a dilemma. JHockey and Inverno have both asked to be the Philadelphia Eagles. Since two people cannot be the same team. Something needs to happen here. Discuss amongst yourselves and come to a resolution. If you cannot agree I will feel no sorrow for giving you two the Browns/Bengals. hehehe

Something everyone should be aware of is I'm serious about the high speed thing. If you can't play your game when I announce that we advance, I need to know what time you're planning on jumping on and playing it. If it's a user game, try to contact your user opponent first, then contact me in a situation and we'll see what we can do. If I can't get a hold of you, you get two days from the advance date. On the evening of the second day, you will be simmed over. UNLESS you tell me ahead of time. Everyone needs a break now and then, but we want to keep moving. Also, if we're waiting on YOU and EVERYONE BUT YOU is on waiting for the advance. You're getting simmed. Im sorry, but majority is king in the land of America. UNLESS I know ahead of time. (See the pattern? Let me know when you'll be unavailable. I fully expect everyone that signed up to be able to play 1 game/night on a regular basis) Everyone please confirm.

Im picking the game up midnight after the 13th. Then I will send out invites and set it up. We will start the evening of the 14th. It would be really awesome if I could get everyone on at the same time. I dont think this'll be too big of a problem since it's release day and everyone will have it.

Alright, as to my development as the commissioner, there is no in-game salary cap, a weak free agent wire and lack of contracts. I have found a very in-depth way of handling this here (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/277527.page). I need everyone to review it (The spreadsheets help). I need everyone who is going to be in to agree with this, because I believe this will work until these features are reintegrated into the Online Franchise mode. If I do not hear yay or nay from you, it will be an understood yes. I feel like this is a reliable way to do it. Also, to handle to lack of CPU Trade logic, all trades must come through me and will be voted upon by the other Franchise owners. Majority rules here. The exception is User - User Trades. They do not require voting, but they will require to be passed through me to meet the requirements. The requirements are also in the link above. If you have any issues, let me know and we can discuss it.

Alright, now that the game is released, everyone is reminded to activate their online Franchise. Go to Xbox Live -> Online Franchise -> Activate. The code is located on the back of your game manual. I cannot send the invite without this. Also, everyone send me your e-mail. I would appreciate it if everyone could have AIM. Not a necessity, but I REALLY need a way to keep in contact with everyone. (especially if wally doesnt renew League Daddy.)
